Disassembly
We will execute the following steps and carefully take car of the following points when disassembling the Lada Niva.
- Drain the fluids: Drain all the fluids, including the oil, coolant, and fuel, before starting the disassembly process.
- Remove the body panels: Start by removing the body panels, such as the hood, doors, fenders, and tailgate. This may require removing bolts, screws, and clips that hold them in place.
- Remove the engine and transmission: Remove the engine and transmission by disconnecting hoses, cables, and electrical connectors. This requires a lot of care and expertise to avoid damage to the engine or transmission.
- Remove other parts: Remove other parts such as the suspension, brakes, exhaust system, and drivetrain. This may require removing bolts, screws, and clips that hold them in place.
- Label and store the parts: As you remove parts, label them and store them in a safe place. This will make it easier to reassemble the car later.
- Clean and inspect the parts: Clean and inspect the parts to check for damage or wear. Replace any damaged or worn parts as necessary.
